The Mickey Bushell Gold Standard Academy (MBGSA) skills training course was born in the summer of 2021, out of the massive hole in the market for training and support of wheelchair users in their everyday lives. Over the next few months plans for its future slowly took shape.
By early 2022 the first Mickey Bushell Gold Standard Academy wheelchair skills course was ready to open its doors to applicants in Telford and Shropshire. Starting small, with just 2 attendees on the first 8 week course, the Academy has gone from strength to strength over the last few years.
Together we will improve your fitness, strength, and wheelchair skills. Welcoming you to a growing community of like minded, friendly, and supportive people, who will push and encourage you in the best ways. Yes, we will work hard, but we will also have fun.
